ACA Standard and companion ACA Policy on Sustainability

ACAIn August of 2011 at the 141st Congress of Correction the Commission on Accreditation for Corrections through its Standards Committee approved the first ACA Standard promoting sustainability in corrections.

GreenPrisons concludes first successful webinar series

In November GreenPrisons.org concluded its first three part webinar series. The series designed to provide information to both the field and the contractor community on sustainable products and services in corrections. Registrations grew by more than 30% from month to month as practitioners and providers took advantage of this free service.
